In 2021 I exhibited at the Kirkcudbright Galleries as part of a wasps_ group show - "Ten Years On". Work featured is shown below.
When This Is Over
'When This Is Over' is a response to the loss of a delightful lady in her 90’s I got to know during the first lockdown of 2020. We only ever spoke on the phone, but we looked forward to meeting up in person once it was safe to do so. One of the last things she said to me was “ when this is over let’s get together for a cup of tea” .She passed away peacefully at home before this was possible.

Wanting to remember a particular spot in the woods to return to, I looked around for a landmark of some kind. The first thing I noticed was a discarded drinks can nestled in the undergrowth...............
